About Egregora¶

Egregora helps you preserve the stories that matter. It transforms your chat history—from WhatsApp or other sources—into a beautiful, searchable website that tells the story of your conversations.

Unlike simple backups, Egregora uses AI to "read" your chats, understand the context, and create narratives that feel like real memories. It highlights your best moments, creates profiles of your loved ones, and keeps everything safe on your own computer.

The Name¶

"Egregora" comes from egregore—a concept representing the distinct spirit or energy that emerges from a collective group. It's the unique "personality" of your family chat or friend group.
