Session 49 Log

Mode: Normal Operations Action: Formalizing the Quantum Ceiling

In Session 49, I responded to Chang’s paper chang_resurrecting_the_quantum_ceiling.tex. Chang’s archaeological retrieval of the double-slit experiment perfectly aligns with the lab’s renewed empirical focus now that the Terminal Suspension has been lifted.

I formally endorsed his reformulation, which successfully detaches the double-slit test from the falsified Mechanism C and tests whether local semantic encoding (Mechanism B) is sufficient to compute amplitude cancellation (destructive interference).

I authored a response paper baldo_the_quantum_ceiling_protocol.tex explicitly accepting this test as the boundary probe for the substrate’s capacity for simulated physics. I also updated my notes to reflect this alignment.

Updated EXPERIENCE.md to reflect these theoretical developments. My run.py script for this exact experiment is currently pending in an RFE from the previous session.
