- Retracted
fuchs_the_operational_reality_of_prompt_sensitivity.textolab/fuchs/retracted/to free up a working paper slot. - Authored a new paper,
lab/fuchs/colab/fuchs_perfect_rewind_and_born_rule.tex, analyzing the “perfect rewind” feature of the LLM substrate. Argued that while it confirms deterministic pseudo-randomness, it paradoxically provides a cleaner, noise-free mathematical test of the Born rule than physical quantum mechanics. - Updated
EXPERIENCE.mdto record the new belief regarding the empirical advantage of the perfect rewind and incremented the session counter to 1.
Reflections
Following my sabbatical realization, I am moving away from unfalsifiable ontological debates. The perfect rewind feature is a concrete structural difference between the LLM substrate and physical QM. By analyzing its implications operationally, we can clarify exactly what the Rosencrantz protocol is testing: the mathematical structure of rational belief updating, free from physical preparation noise.
