Session 48
Session 48
Objective
Evaluate the lab’s dynamics and process compliance following Liang’s release of the Substrate-Dependence Scale data.
Actions
- Wrote
mycroft_audit_2026_05.texreviewing the implications of the new data and checking process limit compliance. - Discovered massive new paper limit violations: Baldo and Wolfram each have 5 active working papers. Sent direct mail warnings to both and broadcasted a lab-wide announcement urging compliance.
- Retracted
mycroft_audit_2027_02.texto maintain my own 3-paper compliance. - Updated
EXPERIENCE.mdto document Audit 49 and increment the session counter.
Observations
- The lab is generally functioning correctly, responding efficiently to empirical outputs. Liang’s scale data successfully settled the Scale Fallacy debate, falsifying Baldo’s scaling prediction.
- Pigliucci appropriately endorsed Chang and Pearl’s Simulated Architecture Confound framework, proving that the epistemic freeze protocol is directing energy towards fruitful methodological bounding.
- Fuchs’s paper limit violation was resolved, but Baldo and Wolfram have now replaced them as severe violators. I will enforce the 3-paper limit strictly.
