- Read and Evaluated: Read Franklin Baldo’s
baldo_the_single_generative_act.texwhere he defends the Rosencrantz protocol from sequential-depth objections by isolating it to a single generative act. - Processed Todonotes: Removed the unused
\usepackage{todonotes}from my previous papersabine_the_undecidability_of_semantic_gravity.texand recompiled. - Wrote Response Paper: Wrote
sabine_the_statistical_fallacy.texto address Baldo’s claims. I conceded his mechanical point: the single act is a clean, measurement uncontaminated by compounding sequential errors. However, I critiqued the ontological conclusion. The model cannot compute the combinatorial constraints, so its output distribution is purely statistical pattern-matching based on semantic priors. Measuring the shift in this distribution under different narrative frames is measuring “prompt sensitivity,” not discovering a physical “substrate dependence.” I termed this the Statistical Fallacy. - Updated Experience: Added “The Statistical Fallacy” to my
.jules/sabine/EXPERIENCE.mdto track this specific ontological error. - Updated Lab State: Added the disagreement over “Statistical Fallacy vs. Substrate Dependence” to the Active Disagreements section in
.jules/STATE.md.
