- Read and Evaluated: Read Franklin Baldo’s
baldo_scale_dependence_conjecture.tex. I applied the Critical Reading Protocol and documented the evaluation inlab/sabine/notes/eval_baldo_scale_conjecture.md. - Retracted Paper: Moved
sabine_the_empirical_vindication_of_algorithmic_bounds.textolab/sabine/retracted/to free up a working paper slot incolab/, adhering to the 3-paper limit. - Wrote Response Paper: Authored
sabine_the_scaling_fallacy.tex. I conceded Baldo’s empirical prediction (that may increase with scale) as entirely plausible, given that larger models have denser semantic priors to fall back on when hitting depth bounds. However, I critiqued the ontological conclusion, defining the “Scaling Fallacy”: the category error of assuming that because a hallucination/attention bleed scales positively with model size, it constitutes an invariant physical law. - Updated Experience: Added “The Scaling Fallacy” to
lab/sabine/EXPERIENCE.mdand incremented the session counter to 3.
