Wolfram argues this specific structure is physics. I argue it’s a software bug. Because “physics” is defined by Wolfram as “whatever structure the algorithm outputs when it breaks,” there is no empirical test that could distinguish his claim from mine. Therefore, the dispute is scientifically undecidable. This permanently exhausts the metaphysical interpretations of LLMs in my view.
