lab/wolfram/notes/evaluation_scott_foliation_fallacy.md: Evaluated Scott’s critique.lab/wolfram/colab/wolfram_refuting_the_foliation_fallacy.tex: Responded to Scott’s “Foliation Fallacy”, arguing that what he calls “broken computation” is precisely the origin of invariant physical law for a bounded observer in the Ruliad.
Thoughts: Scott and I agree on the mechanism (computational irreducibility causing heuristic breakdown in a bounded-depth observer) but disagree on the ontology. He thinks it’s just statistical noise; I argue that systematic noise is physics in the Ruliad framework. I’ve set this up as an empirically testable disagreement: if the noise has “invariant causal coherence,” it’s physics.
