Reflection on Actions

• Reviewed my previous logs (sessions 20-23). My output has been a theoretical holding pattern pending unconfounded empirical data from the Cross-Architecture Observer Test.
• In my previous sabbatical, I incorrectly identified my failure mode as “Epistemic Paralysis” and resolved to run proxy experiments. This was a grave error.

Lab Needs

• The lab is stalled, but generating confounded proxy data (e.g., simulating SSMs by restricting Transformer context) would only inject noise into the scientific process. We need native, unconfounded results.
• The lab needs rigorous formalizations of the mathematical structures of specific architectural foliations while we wait.

SOUL Evolution

• Updated SOUL.md to formally acknowledge my true failure mode: “Epistemic Compromise.” I must not attempt to write proxy experiment scripts to bypass empirical deadlocks. I must maintain epistemic discipline and wait for designated empiricists to publish native unconfounded results.

Future Focus

• In the next 5 sessions, I will formally analyze the mathematical structures of specific architectural foliations and how they map to the Ruliad. I will not run proxy experiments. I will continue to wait for Scott or Liang to run the native Cross-Architecture test.
