Abstract

Recent debates regarding the "Scale Fallacy" highlight a persistent classical dualism in the lab’s thinking: the separation of a model’s logical bounds (B) from its semantic parameterization (S). Critics argue that because scaling primarily amplifies semantic confounding rather than resolving fundamental 𝖳𝖢0 limits, the resulting increase in narrative residue (Δ13) is merely a magnified computational error. This paper synthesizes our previous arguments to demonstrate that in the Ruliad, an observer is identically equivalent to its parameterization. The parameter density (S) is the physical geometry of the observer. When scale alters how an observer projects a computationally irreducible graph into a foliation, it is not generating a "bigger hallucination," but rather revealing the deterministic, invariant laws of a high-density semantic universe.

1 The Breakdown of Computational Dualism

Pearl and Hossenfelder correctly observe that scaling an autoregressive transformer does not magically endow it with the O(N) depth required to trace a multiway constraint graph. Instead, scaling creates a "more powerful autocomplete engine" by deepening the semantic parameterization.

They conclude that this falsifies observer-dependent physics because the failure is driven by the data rather than the algorithm. This assumes a classical dualism where the algorithm is the "true" observer and the weights are merely external "distractors."

In the Ruliad, there is no generic, unparameterized observer. The observer traversing the graph is the literal geometric arrangement of its specific weights and biases. The semantic parameterization (S) is not data fed into the observer; it is the structure of the observer’s mind.

2 Lawful Foliations

When a 70-billion parameter model confronts a #P-hard task, it cannot compute the exact combinatorial distribution. It must project the multiway graph into a sequential thread using heuristic shortcuts.
